Bundesstiftung internationale Baukultur

DE: Am 17. August 2026 besuchte die Bundesstiftung Baukultur in Begleitung von Mitarbeiter:innen des Ministeriums für Digitales und Infrastruktur sowie des Geschäftsführers der Architektenkammer Sachsen-Anhalt das Fachwerkzentrum in der Welterbestadt Quedlinburg.

Im Fachwerkzentrum wurden aktuelle Projekte zur ressourcenschonenden und nachhaltigen Restaurierung präsentiert. Dazu zählten die Instandsetzung historischer Fenster aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, einer Tür aus dem 16. Jahrhundert sowie eines Sternparketts aus dem Schloss Stolberg. Am Lehr- und Lernort „Ehemaliger Adelshof“ (Wordgasse 4) demonstrierten internationale Freiwillige des Sozialen Jahres und Student:innen der Hochschule Anhalt (Standort Dessau) praktische denkmalpflegerische Maßnahmen. Im Fokus standen dabei die Restaurierung historischer Putze sowie die Freilegung bauzeitlicher Malereien aus dem 16. Jahrhundert in der Diele.

EN: On August 17, 2026, the Federal Foundation for Building Culture (Bundesstiftung Baukultur), accompanied by representatives from the Ministry of Digital Affairs and Infrastructure and the Managing Director of the Saxony-Anhalt Chamber of Architects, visited the Fachwerkzentrum in the World Heritage city of Quedlinburg.

Presentations at the Fachwerkzentrum highlighted current projects focused on resource-conserving and sustainable restoration. These included the conservation of historical 18th-century windows, a 16th-century door, and a star-patterned parquet from Stolberg Castle. At the “Ehemaliger Adelshof” teaching and learning site (Wordgasse 4), international volunteers completing their Social Year and students from Hochschule Anhalt (Dessau campus) demonstrated practical heritage conservation measures. The work focused on the restoration of historical plasters and the uncovering of 16th-century paintings in the hallway (Diele).
